Michelle Kennedy, ICMG, CMCG (School Director, Master Pet Stylist, Instructor)

Michelle became involved with dogs in 1980, working with her Siberian mix in obedience. In 1981 she purchased her first Siberian husky and began showing under the kennel name Karasmova. By 1984, she began grooming and teaching obedience, opening her first salon in 1988. In 2010, she began Golden Paws Pet Styling Academy in Clifton Park. Michelle lives in Clifton Park with her husband (see above), two of her four daughters (also see Amanda), Cairn Terrier, Swedish Vallhund, mini Goldendoodle, Bichon Frise and Havanese.  Michelle completed her Master Cat Groomer certification and is now working on becoming a Certified Pet Aesthetician.

Amanda Kriss (Senior Pet Stylist, Instructor)

Amanda has been hanging around the grooming shop since she was a year old, napping in a crate with one of the dogs while Michelle would be grooming (the crate door was open!). She spent her teenage years bathing in the shop whenever an extra hand was needed. In early 2009 Amanda made the move to full-time pet stylist and is now studying to become a Certified Pet Aesthetician.  Amanda lives in Saratoga with her husband, Brad, two daughters, Cecelia & Cora, and two Cairn Terriers, Audrey & Keidis.
