Jenny Deyoe (Senior Pet Stylist)

Jenny began her career in pet styling in 2008, bathing dogs part time. She quickly moved on to become a full-time groomer later that summer. Jenny is a life-long horse enthusiast and currently lives in Clifton Park with 2 horses, 6 dogs (a small mixed breed, English Springer Spaniel, 2 Miniature Poodles, Rough Collie, German Shepherd Dog) and several cats.


Michael Kennedy (Operations Director)

Michael married into the pet styling business. He studied Communications at Marist College and received his Master’s at SUNY Albany. His background in business administration and owning many pets (see below) have merged into a new career. Michael is the author of children’s books based on dogs that have become a part of our lives through their visits here with us. His Puppy Tales include:

Michelle Kennedy, ICMG, CMCG, CCE

Michelle became involved with dogs in 1980, working with her Siberian mix in obedience. In 1981 she purchased her first Siberian husky and began showing under the kennel name Karasmova. By 1984, she began grooming and teaching obedience, opening her first salon in 1988. In 2010, she began New York Academy of Pet Styling in Clifton Park. She is an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG), Certfied Master Cat Groomer (CMCG) and Certified Canine Esthetician. During COVID, Michelle certfied in raw feeding and is continuing to expand her knowledge of pet nutrition. Michelle lives in Clifton Park with her husband (see above), one of her four daughters (also see Amanda), mini Goldendoodle, Havanese, Australian Shepherd and Miniature American Shephed.


Amanda Kriss (Senior Pet Stylist)

Amanda has been hanging around the grooming shop since she was a year old, napping in a crate with one of the dogs while Michelle would be grooming (the crate door was open!). She spent her teenage years bathing in the shop whenever an extra hand was needed. In early 2009 Amanda made the move to full-time pet stylist and is now studying to become a Certified Pet Aesthetician.  Amanda lives in Saratoga with her husband, Brad, two daughters, Cecelia & Cora, and 2 Cairn Terriers.

Maddie Kirsten (Pet Stylist)

Maddie is a graduate of New York Academy of Pet Styling. She immediately joined our staff upon graduation from school. Maddie lives in Halfmoon with her 2 cats.
